In this teaching session we will take a look at how Paul laid out the events of “that Day” 

“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”  2Th 2:2

               The context suggests that false teachers had followed Paul and spread error, causing the believers to fear they had missed the rapture. This explains why Paul urged them not to be ‘soon shaken in mind.’

               Paul then presents the events in sequence, beginning with the gathering together of the saints and continuing through the major events that culminate in Christ’s physical Second Coming.
